Safe Space

The Safe Space program aims to create an environment of support and affirmation for the LGBTQ community by educating faculty, staff, and students at the Health Science Center (http://www.uthscsa.edu/safespace) to be supportive of all individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. The original Safe Space program was developed by Chris Alonzo, and Safe Space 2.0, an expansion that offers a more clinician-focused curriculum, was developed by Eric Gonzales and Denise Nemeth.

The Safe Space program is currently led by Eric Gonzales, co-founder of Safe Space and Natalie Clericuzio, co-president of PRIDE. Our last Safe Space session in the Spring was on 3/25/2016.

We will be holding our last Safe Space Training of the school year NEXT THURSDAY 4/28/2016 from 12-1pm, in Library 2.031. We hope to see many of you there! Please RSVP at the form below if you plan to attend. Thanks! http://goo.gl/forms/qUYmozAwAB
