~With the San Antonio Gender Association (SAGA), the panel allows community members that identify as transgender to
come to the UTHSCSA campus to share their experiences in healthcare.~
SAGA members have been generous enough to dedicate some of their time to educating health professionals on numerous occasions on our campus. They have run panels for the PRIDE group, for physician assistant students, for the 2014 OUT for Health Summit, and most recently, for the medical school as part of the required curriculum (a first!).
Always an engaging, informative, and interesting discussion, the panels have always been one of the events that PRIDE has received most feedback from as an eye-opening experience. We fully encourage you to stop by the next time they come out to speak!
